What foreign material??…
We’ve heard it was plastic but you would have to contact the company for the exact material.
Good thing I stopped using your products when you started being mass produced to sell in chain stores…no quality control when you’re only worrying about making more food and more money…I worked in a private pet store when the recall 10 years ago affected so many brands and pets, but thankfully WellPet/OMH wasn’t one of them at the time…but the appeal of branching out to PetsMart was too important and now you find yourselves on that dangerous list…quality over quantity is the was it should be when it comes the our beloved pets nutrition
Hi! Just so you know, this is not Wellness’ page. This is our personal blog alerting people of this recall. You can definitely hop on over to their page and express your opinion 🙂 I just wanted to make sure you knew since this doesn’t go to them. A lot of companies have sold out to the chains and it’s sad. The little stores is what developed their name.
Thank you so much. I had dogs and I relied on the dog food alerts, so thankful there are alerts for cats. I recently purchased 2 Ragdoll kittens gosh, I don’t want any problems with feed. It is difficult to go from dogs to cats and be aware of what to feed. The breeder was wonderful but some products hard to find here in Texas. I am so happy I found your site, will tell my kitty friends.
We’ve had cats in our home for 22 years and started feeding them Wellness on the recommendation of a very good Pet Food Retailer about 10 years ago . When our senior cats died not too long ago, we decided to get another kitten and of course decided to feed him Wellness wet food in addition to the Kibble he was getting. I was very surprised that he wouldn’t eat the Wellness Kitten wet food. I had no idea why but he just didn’t eat it. I tried another Adult flavor and again no interest. Can it be that because your company altered the production method and/or ingredients, that the best test, i.e. the cat, tells the story? “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”! I agree with a previous comment. Your success started with Loyal Pet Food Retailers – NOT THE CHAINS!!!
